Generic Nexium (Generic Nexium, Nexium® equivalent)
Generic Nexium (Esomeprazole) is used to treat conditions of excessive acid in the stomach. It is used to treat Gastric ulcers, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, Erosive esophagitis (damage to your esophagus caused by stomach acid), and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Esomeprazole can also be used along with antibiotics to treat infectious ulcers caused by the H. pylori bacteria.
